It's the best of both worlds! At Cedar Canyon Retreat, you can be in the mountains, surrounded by woodland, but you are only 5 minutes from the conveniences of Cedar City.

We have a 4-bedroom log cabin, 20 RV sites with full hookups, and several tent sites, ready to serve your vacation needs! Our woodland community is especially well-suited for reunions and other groups. Come for the Shakespeare Festival, enjoy year-round outdoor adventures on the mountain, or just relax at "home."

The Cabin

Our 4 bedroom, 3 bath log cabin sleeps 10 (plus couch and floor space for kids) and has plenty of room for your gang, including a full kitchen, a private yard with a grill and fire pit, and a basement activity area to play cards, watch a movie, play pool. Next door is a rec room with a ping pong table and air hockey. As you would expect, we have free wi-fi and smart TVs.

Our RV Park and Campground is nestled in the woods, a world away from the glorified parking lots you often stay at. It feels like a mountain campground, but with all the amenities you expect:

The Cowboy Cabin

Our latest addition! A "cowboy cabin" is a simple cabin somewhere between camping and a hotel room. Ours has electricity, heat and AC, and three twin beds (bring your own bedding) that you can move together or separate. Like most cowboy cabins, it does not have its own plumbing, but our famously clean private restrooms with showers are just a 50ft walk.

Priced about the same as our RV sites, it's a great option for campers who need a break from your tent!

It is a beautiful place with plenty of things to do around the property. It snowed on our last night and it was just magical. I wish we could have stayed forever.

Location, location, location! What a beautiful place in the canyon, literally minutes from Cedar City and the Shakespearean Festival. Space to spread out a family or two. We especially enjoyed the garden with squash and corn growing, and the strawberry patch. Should we vacation in southern Utah again, this property would be our number one choice for accommodations.

Easily accessible from Cedar City, this property was a perfect retreat for our visit to the Cedar City Shakespeare Festival. We really enjoyed being out of town--the stars shine so brightly up the canyon! We loved sitting in the hottub between shows. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The added amenities of the pool table and ping pong table were a hit with the kids! It was close to the city for a quick trip for forgotten supplies and yet we felt very secluded and away from it all because of the trees that keep it hidden from the road. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with questions we had both before our stay and during. Highly recommended!
